In winter, thanks to its comfortable gondola, the traditional village of Champagny-en-Vanoise is linked to the Paradiski® area, guaranteeing excellent snow conditions for skiers. The site also has two children’s ski gardens. Another considerable asset for a great holiday is its swimming pool with a spa, a wellness area and a paddling pool for little ones. Then, further up and a few hairpin bends on from the main village is the unspoiled valley of Champagny-le-Haut. A real postcard setting that offers a range of Nordic activities: cross-country skiing, sledging, ice climbing on France’s one and only ice tower(!), hiking on foot or on snowshoes, ski joëring, dog sledding, hot-air ballooning and a sculpted ice grotto. When it comes to choosing where to stay, there are some attractive, family-friendly hotels and a wide range of residences dotted throughout the village.
