In summer, you could not imagine a more authentic Savoyard village: chalets built in wood and stone, a chapel, a pedestrian village centre and charming boutiques selling 100% local products … You will even hear the joyful sound of cowbells ringing out! Montchavin and Les Coches are linked by a free bus service and both villages offer a multitude of activities and entertainment for the whole family: hiking trails, electric scooters, electric mountainboards … and even a skating rink with views of Mont-Blanc! To stay cool, there is nothing like diving into the outdoor pool and/or enjoying a beauty treatment at the Espace Paradisio.
In winter, Montchavin - Les Coches is the ideal setting for a holiday with a large or small tribe, with its "Famille Plus" label and all the child-friendly amenities (sledging runs, children’s ski gardens, etc.). Set between the forest and the snowy slopes, the site is on two levels: the village of Montchavin, 1 250 m above sea level, and Les Coches at 1 450 m (linked by a free bus service). Skiers have a choice of several chairlifts and a gondola to get to the high-altitude ski area. It is not far to the departure point of the Vanoise Express, Paradiski®’s impressive cable car that links La Plagne and Les Arcs. At the end of the day you can enjoy a relaxing moment with your family at the skating rink, the cinema or the Espace Paradisio aquatic complex.
