Altitude 1 800 m to 2 050 m – Right at the top, a constellation of 7 villages with a variety of complementary atmospheres in the heart of the ski area, for direct access to all the fun of the mountains.
As you climb up to La Plagne, when your field of vision finally emerges from the forest, the typical Alpine panorama strikes you with its beauty and openness to the sky and the mountain peaks. As you drive past La Roche, don’t miss the viewpoint overlooking France’s only bobsleigh track which is open in winter for those who love a real thrill! On the edge of a vast high-mountain area, the resort consists of 7 villages that are all different to meet everyone’s requirements, whether they have come alone, with their loved one or with the whole tribe. The villages are Plagne 1800, Plagne Centre, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Villages, Plagne Aime 2000, Plagne Bellecôte and Belle Plagne (all connected by a free bus service). Each village has its own atmosphere and a unique range of shops and services. The only thing they all have in common, apart from the famous red woolly hat, is their direct access to the mountain for the greater pleasure of all those who love winter sports and nature. The icing on the cake (white, of course): a rich catalogue of activities for all tastes: ice rinks, dog sledding, paragliding (with a few aerobatics thrown in for the less faint-hearted!), mountain biking on snow, ziplines, snowshoe hikes in unspoiled natural surroundings, sledging, a night in a snow groomer and cocoon-style or open-air wellness activities …
